The Quad will be providing commentary and updates throughout the Round of 16 of the N.C.A.A. tournament from reporters in each region. In addition to Connor Ennis in the Times office, Mike Ogle is blogging from New York, and Stephen Danley, who played in the tournament for Penn, is contributing from a pub in England, where he is a Marshall Scholar.
After a relatively ho-hum night of games — besides the end of Michigan State and Kansas — it’s on to the Round of 8. We’ll find out our first two Final Four participants on Saturday when Pittsburgh faces Villanova in the East Regional final and Connecticut takes on Missouri in the West. We’ll be here blogging again, so feel to drop by and join us.
As for tonight we’ll leave you with this little bit of information: For all of the talk of parity in college basketball, the eight teams left consist of four No. 1 seeds, two No. 2 seeds and two No. 3 seeds. It’s crowded at the top.
